The history of the Clos de la rousselière

Cadastre Rousselière

In the 19th century, the Clos de La Rousselière was a wine estate, consisting of the winegrower’s residence, today the Cottage du Cerf, under which is a very long vaulted cellar, which was used for tasting the production!

Diana’s room was a stable, it was followed by a very large barn for agricultural tools, press and other fodder storage for the animals, which became the heart of the house!

In the courtyard, the small house was the dwelling of the parents of the winegrower. It will soon become La Bulle d’Or…

The last winegrower unfortunately without heir, the farm was bought in 1982 by a Parisian industrialist who made it his second home. He undertakes the complete renovation of the barns, which will become their vacation spot.

In 2009, it was love at first sight for us, we took over this unique property to make it our home! For 4 years, the renovation work did not stop, the gîte and the guest rooms were born!

We are thrilled to share the tranquility and charm of these places with you today!
